YAWN aims to usher in the new psychedelic era by dismantling the stigma attached to psilocybin through education and an elevated retail experience.
Our mission is to pursue mental wellness through informed use and acceptance of psychedelics and plant medicine. We strongly believe there is so much potential with psychedelic wellness, to foster mindfulness, self-reflection, and spiritual connection-- promoting a greater sense of well-being, diversity and inclusion. We advocate for harm reduction through legalized, responsible and intentional consumption. We do this through our educational space that provides wisdom from a variety of industry leaders, doctors, holistic teachers, spiritual healers and more.
YAWN will transform your 'magic mushroom' experience with practical accessories, activity-driven products and knowledge.
Thank you for being a part of the psychedelic wellness movement.
Yawning is triggered by a primal center of the brain that falls outside conscious control.
For both humans and many animals alike, yawning is one of our most fundamental and primitive behaviors.
After ingesting 'magic mushrooms', yawning is one of the initial physical indicators that the psilocybin is taking effect.
Research shows that psilocybin increases activity in regions of the brain that are usually activated when we dream, meditate or sleep.
Although we often associate yawning with being tired and the psychedelic state to dreaming, studies show that psilocybin facilitates a state of “expanded consciousness”, which we like to call “waking up”.
YAWNING IS THE BEGINNING AND THE AWAKENING.
Yawning is one of the first physical actions a human fetus does in it’s first trimester in the womb.
Yawning is contagious!
Let’s YAWN TOGETHER.
SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT
With every item YAWN sells, we donate a portion of our proceeds to support the Heffter Research Institute in their mission to fund the leading studies on psilocybin in the world today.
For 26 years Heffter has been helping to design, review, and fund the leading studies on psilocybin at prominent research institutions in North America and Europe. Their research has explored psilocybin for the treatment of cancer-related distress and addiction, for understanding the relationship between the psychedelic experience and spirituality, and for basic science research into the physiology of brain activity, cognition, and behavior.
